My Story
As someone who has a ton of allergies and sensitive to a lot of smells, I was very hesitant to try Scentsy. I attended a friends party online and earned a free gift, and won a game that won me another gift, and that was the moment I fell in love with the products. After that, I began buying products monthly, and ended up falling in love with the Scentsy Club and the Whiff Boxes. Nearly a year into being addicted, I hosted my first party finally, and the rest is history! I am now here to help others find their love of our products, or even just help keep them updated with our new product releases if they already know and love Scentsy :D
As for why I became an Independent Scentsy Consultant, the answer is simple.... Single mom who is disabled, and home schooling a special needs student, full time, alone. There is no time to go back to school outside the home, or to get a 9-5 outside the home. I love the products and the company so much, and needed a little extra income to help have a little spending money, and got so much more than just that! I get to share my love of Scentsy with my friends and family, meet new friends and help them discover new products, earn incentives, throw parties both online and in person, and plus get paid for it all on top of it! What's not to love, when u love to the company and people you work with, as much as you love the products you are sharing (yes I say sharing because I simply just share what I know and love and the products truly do sell themselves)... Not to mention, my son really loves the fact he gets to be my little co-worker (was the first thing he asked when I asked him what he thought about me starting a Scentsy business)
For me, I am mostly into the fruity and sweet scents, especially the summer scents filled with tropical goodness, but also the holiday favorites that I can simply fill my home with without having to do a ton of work to do so. I love using the scent circles near the litter box and on the stairway especially. The mini fans, I hook up to my computer so that it turns on whenever I turn on the computer to work. My asd son LOVES to go through our wax collection daily and change up the scent, and we simply use cotton balls to absorb the wax in between, and guess what? they make GREAT fire starters, so we have no waste from it! I have also repackaged the way and reused the same wax again, to save money, and they still have loads of yummy scent! (we leave 1 scent for at least 24 hours before changing, on day and night, and can use the same wax more than once with just as amazing scent... that should tell you how amazing the product is!) The very first scentsy product I ever had, was actually back in 2012, when I had my baby shower. I received one of the little buddies that happened to be a frog at that time. It came with a neat little scent pak that went into the buddies back. Well my kiddo misplaced it and we found it a few years later.. and guess what?! If i shake that little scent pack up really well, I can still faintly smell the scent, 9 years later! I also love using the room spray on my bedding to make it smell like my favorite scents to snuggle up into. They work fantastic up camping in the tent as well if you really need a change of scent! As for our warmers... Let me just say that I absolutely LOVE the fact that my son and pets don't get burns from the wax or the warmer itself, because they don't get as hot as the store bought ones. I found this out when my 8 year old was "finger painting" his desk with the wax while I was in the shower. I also absolutely love the fact that I can leave it on 24/7 without worrying about it burning anything, and knowing there is a LIFETIME warranty on all the warmers!
